Shannon R. August 02, 2014 for Model Number WED9500TC1 My dryer has been squeaking really loud at start of cycle but stops at random times throughout. Is there a replacement kit for Whirlpool model WED9500TC1 or do I need to order separate parts? And what parts would I need to order assuming I'm replacing rollers and belt? Thanks for your help.

Shannon R. July 30, 2014 for Model Number wed9500tc1 My dryer is making very loud squeaking noises when running. It stops for a while during a cycle but will start at random times again. Is there a dryer repair kit for this model and if not, what parts should I order and replace. Thanks much!
1 Answer Shannon, The most common cause for the loud squeaking noise would be faulty rollers for the drum. You will want to check the shafts also to make sure that there is no damage but the rollers are normally the cause. The part number for the rollers are 4392067. Read More...
Myron July 18, 2014 for Model Number MED6400TQ0 My dryer is squeaking for about a minute when started then it stops. I believe the drum roller bearings are beginning to wear out. Does this diagnosis sound right and how many drum rollers does my unit have? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Myron, Your unit has four drum rollers and an idler pulley. I would simply order the repair kit 4392067 since you get all the parts you will need and the belt and it is cheaper than the four rollers alone. Read More...
Terry March 27, 2014 for Model Number LTG6234DQO Whirlpool Thin Twin washer & dryer unit LTG6234DQO. Dryer makes a very loud squealing sound. Thinking it's the support roller in the back, bottom left. Question is - do you recommend replacing all rollers at the same time? Also belt since I'm in there? Is there a kit that has these parts and clips etc? Thanks/Terry
1 Answer Terry, Unfortunately there is not a "maintenance" kit for this dryer. You should replace both drum rollers WPW10314173 and the belt 661570V as long as you're in there. You also will want to check, clean and lube the idler pulley 279640. This would help keep your dryer running for quite a while. Read More...
