Terry01 November 21, 2016 for Model Number KitchenAid KUDD01S (Stainless built-in single drawer dishwasher) Hi, I just bought my house, the previous owners moved out about 4 months before we moved in. My wife noticed a couple weeks ago that it appeared to be leaking water, and then out of nowhere it stopped draining, the water was up to the overflow valve. I suspected a clog at the garbage disposal, but that was clear. I took off the sprayer arm and impeller and noticed a small disk, that should fit on the bottom side of the impeller, the hole was very worn and it falls off. It looks like this disk pushes water to the drain, is that right? It has fins on the bottom side of it. With power off, I took the hose off of the undersink hanger and disconnected it from the disposal, it drained slowly (probably over about 20min). Will this impeller rotor fit my unit? Is this the part I need? Thanks. - Terry
1 Answer Terry01, If the impeller is worn then this will most likely correct the issue with your unit. Read More...

Mike August 13, 2015 for Model Number kudd01dpao1 I cannot get the rotor out of the motor assembly it is stuck in and cant't get it loose. Do I order a motor and a Rotor or does the motor assembly come with the rotor, impeller and stator??
1 Answer Hello Mike. The rotor comes as shown in the photo. You have to twist these to unlock them and remove them from the housing in the unit. If you need the motor WP8194101, you will have to order it separately. Thank you. Read More...
Ricky April 24, 2014 for Model Number KUDD01SSPA0 I have never used my model KUDD01SSPA0 but installed it about 8 years ago. When the wash cycle begins the dishwasher fills up, then you hear clicking like it tries to start, then nothing happens. It almost seems as if the rotor maybe is stuck. How can I take apart the rotor or figure out which part that I need?
1 Answer Hello Ricky, The pump seal has probably stuck to the motor shaft. This is common in a unit that has set without being used. This will normally tear the seal up when the motor shaft turns. You will have to replace the rotor assembly WP8194092. Read More...
Courtney December 08, 2012 for Model Number Model #KUDD01DPPA1 Kitchenaid Dishwasher I think only this part is broken. When I was trying to clean the inside of my dishwasher I took this part out and when trying to replace 2 out of 3 of the plastic sides came loose. Now the dishwasher will not run? Are those 3 plastic rods necessary or might there be something else wrong?
1 Answer Hello Courtney, If you are talking about the pump, there are no parts of the pump serviceable. If anything on the pump came loose, the pump WP8194092 will have to be replaced to correct the issue. If you are talking about the link support 8194282, it is necessary to prevent the fill line and the drain line from crimping off and it will prevent the unit from operating correctly. You will notice that the link support has been changed by the manufacturer. This was deemed necessary since the plastic design was getting broken and causing issues. Read More...
