Sharon C November 28, 2013 for Model Number Amana ACF3325A When setting oven temperature, say to 350 it goes about 500+, stays there for 10 minutes then gradually goes down to temp set in about 15 minutes, unless I open the door for a few minutes to hurry things along. What part do I need? Thank you for this service!!!
1 Answer Sharon, This issue sounds like it would be caused by a faulty oven sensor. You can test the resistance for the sensor, which should be 1090 at room temp. This would be the first thing to check. Read More...
1 Answer Hello Yue, The F1 error code indicates a defective touch pad or clock. Your touch pad is incorporated in the clock assembly 77001200. Read More...
Mark September 22, 2012 for Model Number Amana Big Oven Capacity 5.14 My oven has stopped operating after having no known issues. The broiler still works as does the the stove top burners. I suspect the sensor. I put an ohm meter on it and I get no reading at 200 setting. At 20k I got a reading of 1.08. Applying heat and the number increased to 2.4. Sensor, Erc(alpha 375 Item Number: AP4041331 Manufacturer's Number: 31954301 (31954301) Made by Whirlpool
1 Answer Hello Mark, If the broiler works, I would not suspect the temperature sensor. I would suspect the bake ignitor. At this point I normally list the part number but, since the part is model specific, and no model number is listed, I cannot list the part number for you. You can either re-post with a model number, or you can call our toll free number and give the model number to one of our representatives and they will be happy to look the part number up for you. Carolyn July 07, 2012 for Model Number ACF3355AB My oven will not heat up past low. It seems to get a little warm, but will not register any degrees on the digital display. Is this a sensor problem or maybe an ignitor problem or something else all together. The burners still work okay.
1 Answer Hello Carolyn, The first thing to do is to test the temperature sensor W10850495 for approximately 1100 ohms of resistance at room temperature, (approximately 70°F). If this checks out properly, I would suspect the control 77001201. Read More...
Jerry January 22, 2012 for Model Number ACF3325AW Oven temp not accurate. Most of the time it is 100-150 degrees less than what I set it at. Could the oven sensor be faulty? or is it something else?
1 Answer Jerry, How accurate was your temperature test, If you're temperature is more than 35 degrees off, in either direction, the sensor will not solve the issue, you'll need a new control(ERC) 77001200. The oven temp sensor W10850495 should be tested for 1050 to 1100 ohms resistance at room temperature to varify it works properly, or consider both parts if you wish. Good Luck and Thanks Read More...
Ken P March 18, 2011 for Model Number ACF422GAW After the oven has been used and is still hot, the Broiler unit will not turn on. Is the Sensor at fault? Recently, when using the Broiler (from cold condition) The broiler will turn off after less than one minutes use. Again, faulty sensor?
1 Answer Hello Ken. The sensor is a good starting point here. It could be the control board 77001219 if the bake is working properly. Hope this helps. Read More...
