Sharon, This issue sounds like it would be caused by a faulty oven sensor. You can test the resistance for the sensor, which should be 1090 at room temp. This would be the first thing to check.

Hello Mark, If the broiler works, I would not suspect the temperature sensor. I would suspect the bake ignitor. At this point I normally list the part number but, since the part is model specific, and no model number is listed, I cannot list the part number for you. You can either re-post with a model number, or you can call our toll free number and give the model number to one of our representatives and they will be happy to look the part number up for you.

Hello Carolyn, The first thing to do is to test the temperature sensor W10850495 for approximately 1100 ohms of resistance at room temperature, (approximately 70°F). If this checks out properly, I would suspect the control 77001201.

Jerry, How accurate was your temperature test, If you're temperature is more than 35 degrees off, in either direction, the sensor will not solve the issue, you'll need a new control(ERC) 77001200. The oven temp sensor W10850495 should be tested for 1050 to 1100 ohms resistance at room temperature to varify it works properly, or consider both parts if you wish. Good Luck and Thanks

Hello Ken. The sensor is a good starting point here. It could be the control board 77001219 if the bake is working properly. Hope this helps.
