Bob April 10, 2012 for Model Number RBD305PDQ12 I periodically get a PF code and the oven turns off. After a while it will work again but will get the same code again.
1 Answer Hello Bob, This sounds like you have a bad electrical connection. I would have a licensed electrician check the junction box where the power supply to the unit is connected (usually in the cabinet above, behind, or below the unit). There is a good possibility that you have a wire nut melting inside the junction box. There is also the possibility of a bad breaker or connection to the breaker. The only time the PF code will flash is when the power is discontinued to the control, even momentarily. I'm confident that the problem is an electrical connection losing continuity. It could even be inside the unit, behind the control board on the terminal block. Read More...

Randy July 31, 2011 for Model Number rbd306pdq8 How do you know if your oven sensor is bad? I have had two thermal overloads and a fuse to the control module go bad because of oven over heating.
1 Answer Hello Randy. You can test the oven sensor WP4451665. It should read 1100 ohms at room temperature and 1650 ohms at 350°. If it is bad, you will need to replace the oven sensor. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
