Nichole October 05, 2018 for Model Number MDB5969SDM2 I feel like the sticky part to attach the plate to the insulation is in the wrong spot. From looking at how it will fit on my dishwasher I feel like it needed to be on the high part not inside the lower part. I am unsure with where the sticky part is located how I am supposed to attach it to the plate since it has a lip on it. Do you have a diagram that shows how this is supposed to attach?
1 Answer Nichole, If you follow the diagram I will tell you the order in which these parts go. From the first part, you won't see after assembly to the last part you see after assembly. First is part 11 then 8 then 7 then 5. The sticky part on the inside is fine it won't matter after it's all put together. Read More...
Homerepairguy August 07, 2017 for Model Number KUDK03ITBS2 Does this 5 layer Ams - Insul insulation piece for the access panel replace the 5 individual pieces of insulation? Is it waterproof or can it be dried if it should become wet ? Does it provide an improvement in sound deadening over the original parts or 5 piece set? Does it come with instructions or is it obvious as to how to install? Thanks
1 Answer Homerepairguy, This 5 layer insulation is a replacement for the original and would not be waterproof but will dry out if it gets wet. There is no difference in the sound insulation from the original and this is just for the lower kickplate and should just be peel and stick. Read More...
Eve L March 02, 2017 for Model Number Gu2300xtvbo My dishwasher has a noticeable gap on either side where it slides into my kitchen cabinet. Is there some sort of door trim I can purchase to finish off the installation? My dishwasher color is stainless.
1 Answer Eve, Unfortunately, there isn't a "filler" kit accessory for the brand and model dishwasher you have. You may want to search the internet, or a local home improvement center (Lowes, Home Depot, etc.) for a "universal" filler kit for your dishwasher needs. Sorry. Thanks, Read More...

Neil January 27, 2013 for Model Number Kenmore 665.13752K602 I've received AP4301203 Insulation, Access Panel. It's folded in half with a sticky substance holding each side together. I presume I'm to "pull" the sticky substance apart and install it on the back side of the AP4566226 Panel that I've also received. However, pulling it apart along the line of sticky substance, tears the insulation. What is the correct way to install the insulation to the panel?
1 Answer Hello Neil, You would want to pull it aparts as you stated but you may want to use like a putty knife to separate it. Read More...
Alex December 29, 2012 for Model Number Kenmore 665.158921 When reattaching the access panel, does the insulation just go against the toe plate? Or does the insulation fold over the top of the toe (and attached insulation) plate? So in terms of layers, is it toe plate insulator, toe plate, access panel insulator, then access panel?
1 Answer Hello Alex, The insulation will go against toe panel and not over it. You then would install toe plate insulator toe place access panel insulator and access panel. Read More...
