Hello Henry, The manufacturers' parts list shows Qty. (2) W11658403. This basically means that the same part is used for the right that is used on the left.

Carl, It sounds like you may have had a defrost drain problem that has leaked and frozen the door closed. Using a pry bar will certainly damage a lot of parts. Your only option is to unplug the unit, save all the food you can by moving the food to another location and let this thaw. Think about a block of ice in a good cooler and how long it would take to melt. We advise laying down towels also to not ruin any flooring. To repair the drain issue simply remove the back cover in the freezer and shoot hot water down the drain hole under the evaporator until it flows free with no blockage.[garden sprayer filled with hot water works best]

Amidroc for Model Number GB2FHDXWQ02

I had to remove the door, rails, ice maker top basket to get to the back panel. I took the back panel off to defrost the ice build up. After defrosting the ice and putting everything back together the freezer door became misaligned and doesn't close correctly. The right side will close then the left. It leaves a small gap. Air is allowed to get past and the freezer starts to freeze the condensed air. The rail is pushed all they way back. The little white plastic tab broke. Not sure what it is for?? When pulling the door open the wheels are not aligned. the left side is visibly a few teeth in front of the right side. will this help with the closure of the left side alignment and door closure?

1 Answer

Hello Amidroc. Take the freezer door back off and look for broken parts. Replace any part that is broke. Then make sure both gears are even before you install the door back onto the unit. If not, the door will not close properly. If all of this is good, and the issue continues, you will need to order and replace the slides on the unit.

Bob, It would be best to replace the left drawer slide as it could cause an issue because that clip helps to keep the door closed.
