Becky March 17, 2011 for Model Number 6498VVV I have a Magic Chef stove model 6498VVV. Two of the burners will not ignite (left front and right rear, as I am facing the stove). I have verified gas is coming to them (I am able to light with a match). If I try to light the left front burner, I can see the left rear burner sparking. If I try to light the right rear burner, I can see the left front sparking. Could this be the spark module? Is there a way to test it (by switching wires - I thought I read this somewhere)? My stove seems to be connected to the surrounding cabinets/wall. Can I reach the spark module by removing the bottom drawer and going in underneath? I replaced the oven ignitor this way several months ago... thank you.

Joe March 14, 2011 for Model Number 7458XVW Hi. I have a Magic Chef double oven with 4 electronic top burners. The spark is weak on two of the burners. I'm pretty sure it's the spark module. My questions are: 1. Where is the spark module located? I removed the burner cover and it looks like the wiring dives into the left side of the oven somewhere (as you're looking at it.) 2. How many modules are needed for all four burners? 1 or 2? Thanks!

Bob March 10, 2011 for Model Number MGS5770ADB This AM, tried to light burners and no spark on any of them, last night worked fine. Gas is on, electric is on. Is it the igniter, and if so, how do I get to it in the stove to check and change out?

Gerry March 05, 2011 I have a Maytag model CH9800BAE gas range. The igniter does not spark from both controls on the right side of the stove. They will spark the elements on the left side of the stove but not the right. I also have gas coming to them The only thing missing is the spark for the right front and right rear of the range. What may I be looking at for parts?
