Wesley, the manufacturer parts diagram is not showing a spring for the dispenser as being available or replaceable. From looking at the dispenser housing for your appliance, you would have to replace the dispenser assembly [154574401] to correct the dispenser spring.

Cathy, If you remove the screws around the interior door and lift it up you will be able to see if the spring WPW10116816 is still attached to the latch lever. This would be the most likely spring that would cause the issue but if you push the latch down and the door is still not opening then you would want to replace the spring for the door which is part WPY912547 as this would be the only cause for the door not opening.

Hi Pat. Open the door and slide the hinge pin onto the soap door. Then insert the spring onto the pin. Insert them both onto the soap dispenser. There is a small cut out where one end of the spring will self-hold against the cover, then use a small needle nose pliers to twist the other end of the flat spring 180° and Hook it onto the inner door panel. This should create the proper tension to work the soap door correctly. Spring part # WPY912547. Thank You.
