This dishwasher door strike mounts to the tub opening and provides the catch point for the door latch. Replacing a worn or bent strike restores positive latching so the control can sense a closed door and run cycles reliably.

  • Provides the catch the door latch locks onto
  • Engages the door switch so the dishwasher can start
  • Helps keep the door securely closed during operation
  • Common symptoms: door won't latch or pops open; unit won't start unless pressure is applied to the door; strike is visibly bent, worn, or missing
What's included: 1 door strike Install notes:
  • Disconnect power at the breaker; turn off water if you need to move the appliance
  • Open the door to access the strike at the tub opening; remove mounting screws, replace the strike, and tighten securely
  • Save and reuse the original mounting screws
  • After installation, check latch engagement and adjust appliance leveling or alignment if needed
