Jared December 05, 2016 for Model Number KESH307HBS5 The far right switch (controls right rear burner) came loose and rotated when the knob was twisted, it came in contact with the metal housing and arched and the whole thing went dark. Do you think replacing the switch would help, or do I have bigger issues to deal with?
1 Answer Jared, The switch would certainly need to be replaced and you will want to check your breaker to make sure that it is in the on position and was not tripped. If it is in the on position and not tripped then you will most likely need a control board as well. Read More...

Jean P. July 23, 2012 for Model Number kesc300hbt8 The oven setting on my kitchen aid range varies 50 to 75 degrees when I set it for baking. Do I need a new range or just a new part. It is very hard to bake when it does this. If I need a new part, which part
1 Answer Hello Jean. If the elements are good in the unit, then it sounds like the oven sensor WP9782081 may be bad and need to be replaced in the unit. It should read 1100 ohms at room temperature and 1650 ohms at 350°. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
