Fred May 08, 2014 for Model Number MDB8751AWS The display on front of the machine flashes "L" for about 5 seconds when start/cancel and delay buttons are depressed. I tried to remove the lockout as per the manual; i.e., by pressing "Heated Dry" for 3 seconds. I should add that the control lockout indicator light is NOT lit, as it should be according to the manual. Any I have a Maytag dishwasher model MDB8751AWS.
