Dave February 25, 2022 for Model Number CVEX4370B I have a fan that the knob broke off flush with part of the post so the fan will only work when the grill is turned on. It looks like the fan switch is part wp74009256 ( my actual part # is 7403P438-60) (Y2510A) I have 2 blue wires, 1 black wire and 1 grey wire but it looks like that replacement part on has 2 slots to connect wires. will this part work and if so would I need to rewire several wires together into new connectors? will the fan function on multiple speeds if I replace it?
1 Answer Dave, We will need to have the first 2 digits of the serial number to determine the correct fan switch for your model. Read More...

Andy December 31, 2020 for Model Number CVGX2423B I have installed the fan switch to my stove, part number WP7403p876-60, now have new problems, it work for 4 days, the fan start on all of the times, even I disconnected the fan switch wire from the stove , the fan still keep on, can’t turn it off unless disconnected the main power
1 Answer Andy, it would be recommended that the wires are inspected for any bare sections that are touching as the only way for the fan to get voltage would either be through the switch or through bare wires touching. Read More...
Andy December 25, 2020 for Model Number CVGX2423B My old switch has 1 black , 1 red, 1 white wire , how to connect to the new two terminal switch(WP7403P876-60)? Please advice
1 Answer Andy, We are not showing a red wire to the fan switch and it is possible that your model has a serial number that starts with a 10 and that the fan switch you received will not work. The fan switch that you would have needed in that case would be 71001303. Read More...

Reens December 20, 2017 for Model Number CP320B Hi, I have an older model Jenn Air cooktop w. a down draft fan. The fan switch for the downdraft is broken and need replacement. The fan itself still works, but I cannot turn the fan on/off. I have contact JennAir and they claim that the part is discontinued (part no 04100193 - fan switch for model CP320B) However, I have been told by another part supplier that this part is replaced by Whirlpool part WP74009254. Is that correct? Thanks, Reens
1 Answer Reens, Based on our information, Yes, the WP74009254 / WP74009254 Fan Switch should fit and work in your CP320B Cook top control panel. You may also need the WP422617 / WP422617 Mounting Nut to mount the switch to the control panel. If you have the original fan switch in the unit, you'll find it easier to remove power to the cooktop. raise the control panel housing from the outer housing, remove the original switch and wiring, from the housing. You will only need the two(2) black wires the L1 common black wire and the black wire to the down draft blower motor. Attach the wires to the two terminals on the fan switch, reinstall the control panel assembly, restore power and check the blower motor operation. Read More...
