Jeff September 20, 2021 for Model Number SVE47500B I'm getting no response from the control panel. Also the oven light and fan are both on all the time. I've tried changing out the control board WP71001799 but with no result. I did notice one of the boards on the back had the thermostat wire harness not connected well with the prongs on the board bent. I straightened the prongs, tested and reconnected the thermostat wire harness. Still with no change. The thermostat ohms come out to 1104 at room temp. Would I need to change both boards or would simply changing the touch panel on the front fix this problem?
1 Answer Hello Jeff, all the symptoms you describe are related to a faulty switch membrane (control panel), it is part WP71002041. Read More...

Tracy April 04, 2015 for Model Number SVE47500W The fan does not go off. Last time it ran for 5 days. Suggestions? Also, the display is not working. The stove top and oven work, just can't read the display to know what the temperature is set to or if it is on. Is it the switch membrane or electronic control, or both? Thank you!
1 Answer Hello Tracy, This will be the main control board 12001689 on the back of the unit. The display issue will most likely be the clock assembly WP71001799. Read More...
Glen August 06, 2014 for Model Number SVE47500B My Jenn-Air displays and error code of F7. If I unplug power and then plug it back in the error code will initially not display. After a half hour to a couple of hours it comes back. Do you think it is the touch membrane that needs replacing?
1 Answer Glen, The error code is a shorted keypad and would most likely be the membrane switch that has failed and would need to be replaced. Read More...
David September 30, 2013 for Model Number SVE47600B Our Jenn Air stove won't heat and it occasionally gives an F1 error. I've checked the baking element, broil element and the oven sensor, but they all seemed to be fine. Thinking it might be the oven control board, I tried replacing it, but still no luck. I was going to replace the switch membrane assembly to see if would correct the issue, but I'm open to any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your help.
1 Answer David, The occasional F1 error code may be due to a faulty membrane switch, but you could probably solve that issue with a little rubbing alcohol or electrical contact cleaner, on the ERC/control connector pins, and cleaning the insertion end of the key pad ribbon. The no heat situation is more likely due to a faulty relay or circuit on the relay board W10757086, located on the back of the range in the left rear lower corner, you'll need to slide the range out of the opening to access it. Tammy April 26, 2012 for Model Number SVE47500 The digital buttons on the left side of the touchpad do not work. I can't turn on the oven, broiler, clean, etc. The clock is fine, and the buttons on the right side that control the fan, timers, etc. work fine. We have replaced the oven control, but it still is not working. Do we need a new switch membrane assembly?
1 Answer Hello Tammy! Yes, the membrane will need to be replaced, part number WP71002041. Thanks! Read More...
Sue E. January 27, 2012 for Model Number SVE47500B Looking at switch membrane assembly - our oven panel is operational in setting the oven temp - turning on and off - problem is the actual display panel does not light up at all - what do we need to replace?
1 Answer Hello Sue. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the electronic control WP71001799 is bad and will need to be replaced. Hope this helps. Read More...
