Chas March 26, 2012 for Model Number Kenmore 665.13103K902 When I added hot water to the start of the cycle it cleaned much better especially for the top tray. Suspect not filling with enough water. What part would cause this problem?
1 Answer Chas, the most common issue for your complaint, is a clogged fill valve W10648041 debris and sediment from the pipes enter the valve and reduces the water flow into the machine. You do want to check the float assembly, manually raise and lower the flaot, make sure it moves freely, and you can hear the water level switch "click" then replace the fill valve. With a proper operating float and fill valve, the water level in the bottom of the tub, after a fill and three to five minute wash, should be in touch with the bottom of the heater element. 1 Answer Hello Chad. Disconnect the power to the unit. You will need to remove the toe panel off the bottom of the dishwasher, and unclip the float assembly and remove the old switch.
