Caleb January 23, 2013 for Model Number kecd866rss01 Is part 8286070 the left front triple burner switch for the kecd866rss01? What is confusing are the parts diagram, description, and pricing. This one is 14A Switch-Inf for $49.11. The diagram only shows the number 14. If 8286070 is the triple burner switch, why is it cheaper than the double. Just seems odd. I want to make sure I have the right part in hand before I take it all apart. To be clear, I need the left front triple burner switch. It stays on high. Thanks!

Nonnie October 08, 2011 for Model Number KECD806RSS04 Need to replace the switch for the left front (triple) burner---I think. The burner works but I cannot control the temperature. It is always on high. In the unlikely event I can get it on low, as soon as it switches off, it goes back to high heat. Is this the part I need?
1 Answer Hello Nonnie. If the element and wires are not grounded and shorting the element, then yes, you will need to replace the infinate switch WP8286070. Uninstall the cook top and disconnect the power to the unit. You will remove the knobs and the cooktop from the burner box to access and replace the switch on this model. Hope this helps. Read More...
