Jeff October 14, 2012 for Model Number 110.29522800 Our washing machine fills completely full no matter what water level setting you select. The water level sensor seems to work properly mechanically. What else could be causing the problem?
1 Answer Jeff, The water level switch W10337781 , could still be at fault, But before you replace it, disconnect the air tube from the switch and blow in the end of the tube, this may clear any debris or deposits that may have formed in the tube and would cause the washer to overfill. Read More...
Robert O October 10, 2012 for Model Number WTW5810SW 0 Water Level Switch Question: I'd like to know if there is a installation video for Part Number: AP4567129? I watched the video for PT Number AP4567828. but the parts are designed quite differently, so I would like to know if there is much difference in procedure for the two parts? Removing and replacing the actual part seems as though it will require a different approach.
1 Answer Robert, We reviewed the video you mentioned. Other than the fact that your washer has an "infinite" (adjustable) water level switch. Everything is the same. If you follow the information in the video carefully, you shouldn't have any issues at all. Thanks Read More...

Info available online points to the water level switch as the problem, however there's one more part associated with the mechanism (AP3175254 - spring clip) Could this be the cause for the malfunction as well ? Thank you.

William H. July 28, 2011 for Model Number ap4567129 How to take top off washer to get to level load switch?
1 Answer Hello William. You will need to release the clips under the front corners on the control panel. You can use a flat blade putty or butter knife to do this. Once the clips are released, the control panel will flip backwards and you can access and replace the water level switch W10337781. Hope this helps. Read More...
S. M. July 11, 2011 for Model Number WTW5550SQ0 The load size dial is very difficult to turn. I can take the knob off and turn it with pliers(very hard to turn) so I leave it on large. I need instructions on how to replace the part.
1 Answer Hi S.M. If you are talking about the load size switch on the far Lt. of your control panel, then this pressure switch is part # W10337781.You will remove the knob first. If your end caps on the sides of your control have screws on the back side (at the bottom) then you will need to loosen them. Then pull and lift the control panel fwd. and flip backwards. Then un hook the clear rubber hose to the inlet port on the switch. Carefully lift up on the finger arm clip and twist the control 30 degrees and pull out of the back of the panel.Hope this helps. Thank you. Read More...
