Kari September 22, 2025 for Model Number ED22TQXFW00t I have an older (11/99) Whirlpool side by side refrigerator. It is working sporadically. Ice maker is not always freezing. Freezer is not as cold as it should be. I am not positive that the model number is correct. It is very faded and I can't see it well enough to be sure. We think the defrost timer may be working incorrectly. Is that a universal type part or is it model specific? Do you have any suggestions other then a new refrigerator?.
1 Answer Kari, thanks for the question. The manufacturer has discontinued the defrost timer for this model, and it is no longer available for purchase. Read More...
