Gordon H. September 22, 2011 for Model Number MAYT236AWW When we load and turn on the washer for the Regular cycle the machine runs but makes a thumping sound as if it is off balance, which it is not. We can change to Delicate cycle with the same load and everything else the same and the thumping sounds goes away. Any Suggestions Thanks
1 Answer Hello Gordon. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like you will need to replace the brake WP35-6714, the stator WP35-6918, and the snubber WP21002026. It sounds like the brake and stator are slipping. Hope this helps. Read More...
Don August 09, 2011 for Model Number MAVT236AWW When washer is in spin cycle, it never gets up to enough speed to dispense fabric softener and the clothes are saturated with water at end of cycle. I checked the belt and it seems ok. (I am going to replace it anyways) During the spin cycle the tub will almost get up to speed then will activate the agitator for a secong or two, then try to get up to speed again before the agitator kicks in again. Thanks for any input on this one.

Randy May 18, 2011 for Model Number MAVT346AWW Would a faulty timer cause the washing machine to make a loud buzzing sound in between cycles? Please advise. Thank you, Randy
1 Answer Hello Randy. Is the noise coming from the timer/buzzer itself, or from within the washer? If it is coming from the buzzer it may be a faulty timer WP21002232 or buzzer 53-1639. If the noise is coming from within the appliance, it could be any number of things, but you should check your timer/buzzer first. I hope this helps! Read More...
