Vu February 11, 2018 Model Maytag LAT2301AAE. Spin Cycle drum does not spin however agitator spins. Replaced the brake assy and ohm out and bypass the lid switch. Still does not work.
1 Answer Vu, If the agitator is spinning during the spin cycle then you will want to check the hub nut to make sure that it is not damaged. If this checks ok then also check the mounting stem. Also check to make sure that the motor is shifting on the motor plate. Read More...
1 Answer Hello Arnold. If your serial number starts with 15 or higher you will use WP22003361 for the timer needed. If it starts with 10-14, the timer has been permanently discontinued by the manufacturer and we don't know of any source or replacement for the part. Read More...

Grant June 29, 2014 for Model Number LAT9406AAE Twice our Model LAT9406AAE serial # 11252634QW has failed to fill when the final rinse/spin cycle should be operating. The water continues to flow into tub but does not fill all all, just runs and runs. Advancing the timer very slightly solves the problem. Help. Grant
1 Answer Grant, You will want to check the drain hose and make sure that it is not pushed too far down into the standpipe. In most cases this is the issue with the unit continuously run the water and not fill. Pull the hose out of the standpipe some and see if this corrects it. Read More...

I closed the lid and it didnt start back up at all. I unplugged it and turned the timer knob and still nothing. What could it be?
1 Answer Hello Jason. Check the lid switch 12001908 and see if it is bad and will need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Jt January 30, 2013 for Model Number Maytag LAT9406AAE I'm trying to figure out what timer part number I need for my Maytag LAT9406AAE serial number is 15243313SK. Just trying to figure our if I need Timer part number 22003365 or Timer Part Number 22003361. Also the reason I think it's the timer is the washer will not agitate, but you can switch it to spin and it will spin. I've checked the pulleys and it spins both ways.
