Gayle G February 27, 2016 for Model Number MVWC6ESWW0 My washer seems to stick on the first rinse cycle and will not advance to the spin cycle. If the timer is moved to the extra spin cycle the washer will complete the load. Is this the timer behind the knob?
1 Answer Gayle, The most likely cause for the issue that you are having would be a faulty load sense switch WPW10292584. Read More...
Ricardo O. February 20, 2016 for Model Number Maytag I changed the Maytag Washer timer, but the Machine is still doing only the spin cycle > What else can be the problem? Thanks for you help. Ricardo
1 Answer Ricardo, Normally, this would be a timer issue, Recheck and make sure you wired the replacement timer properly. Check and make sure the fuse on the lid switch assembly or the switches aren't shorted or damaged. Some Maytag washer have a fuse and double switch, if the switch or fuse has failed, the washer wont fill and agitate. A model number would be a big help. Otherwise it could be a faulty motor, but that's not likely at this point. Read More...

Darlene May 08, 2015 for Model Number MVWC6ESWW1 My washer doesn't fill up with water, but well spin on the spin cycle. Is this my timer? I had this problem four years ago, but can't be for sure that it was the timer that was replaced. Thank you
1 Answer Darlene, It could be a timer issue, but you'd want to check or replace the water level / water temp. switch WPW10248240 and air tube first. You'd also want to check the wires between the water switch and the delay control board WPW10104800 on the back of the timer. your switch and wiring could be producing false information to the delay board, causing the washer to not fill and wash. Steve January 14, 2015 for Model Number MVWC6ESWW1 Hello! My washer fills and starts agitating, then pumps out with no spin before rinse, does several pregnant pauses where it just sits there, then agitates all through what should be the spin cycle still full of water, reaches end of cycle and stops. If I turn timer back around to spin it will spin and pump out then stop where it should. I replaced the agitate electronic control that plugs into the timer to no avail. Thanks, Steve
1 Answer Hello Steve. First make sure the transmission is not loose and dropped down. If not, then the clutch 285785 is where you need to go to next on the unit. If it is bad, it will cause the issue your having with the unit. Read More...
