Stephen, Unfortunately the bearings will not cause this issue. This would be a main control board issue that is causing the unit to not spin during cycle but will during diagnostics. The part number for the control board is WPW10189966.

Martha, The bearing and seal kit W10435302 would be the part to order. Yes, you will also need to order the Bearing Installation tool W10447783 to remove the original bearings and properly install the replacement bearings and seal.
