Ed March 16, 2011 for Model Number LAT2500AAE I have a 10 year old Maytag washer. On the floor under the washer there is black oily dust and yellow grease. When the washer goes into spin cycle the belt also makes a noise. Do you sell the transmission as a complete unit and do you sell the clutch and brake assembly as a hole unit?
1 Answer Hello Ed, from your description you do not need a transmission. You will need the replace both belts 12112425 and clean the oil off the sides of the units. Be careful while cleaning the oil of the sides. Your transmission is filled with gear oil, very black in color.
