Elisha R. July 20, 2012 for Model Number RF111PXSQ1 If the bake element is not properly installed, what could happen?
1 Answer Hello Elisha, If the bake element is improperly installed you can short to ground and destroy your control when it burns up the relay contacts to the element. The other possibility is no continuity and it just won't work. The worst case scenario would be that the person installing the element receives a fatal electrical shock. Read More...

1 Answer Hello Julio. To replace the bake element in the oven, you will first need to disconnect the power coming to the unit. Then open the door and remove the racks out of the oven. In the back you will see 2 screws securing the bake element. Remove those screws and pull the bake element out of the unit. Unplug the wires going to the bake element. Install the new bake element WP308180 in reverse order. We will need your correct model number to know if this element will work with your oven.
