Dave January 02, 2013 for Model Number mdb7751aws maytag jetclean Maytag jet clean quiet 200 found no water pressure upper Rack.Traced problem to there is nothing to stop upper rack from getting pushed against door when pump starts It pushes top rack out of rear docking station. I cant see whats missing from the front of upper rack that is supposed to keep it tight against rear wall. Also noticed a oval hole to the side of the docking station that is open and just blows water sideways against rear wall. It seems it should be plugged??I cant find anything missing from the upper rack or from this oval hole in any parts diagrams ???
1 Answer Hello Dave, You will want to make sure that the rack rails have the stops WP99003281 in place. If they are not there then you will want to put them in. Also check to make sure that the seals on the docking station WP6-917647 are not bad. Also check your upper spray arm to make sure that the spray arm is not clogged. A clogged spray arm can cause pressure build up which would allow water to force the upper rack out of place. It would also cause water to spray out of the oval port on the side which is kind of like a pressure releif. Read More...
