Tom May 03, 2013 for Model Number 110.23832100 I was going to replace the lint filters when I noticed that the holes for the filters were a different type. The holes are not round they look like "eyebrows". The parts listing shows that I need part 8522271 which are round. Can you help? Tom

Mary December 19, 2012 for Model Number LSN2000LWO Just replaced my agitator, was pretty easy. I noticed on the bottom that there are 4 holes, two small and two larger. Only one of them had a rubber plug in it. After watching your video, I am still stumped. I thought I understood you to say that the two larger holes are to have the rubber lint plugs, but mine only has one. Please explain to me so that I can replace mine and if there is supposed to be two large holes with the plugs in them, I want to take care of that and do it. do the small holes just stay open?

Rhkramer January 05, 2012 (Aside: Your videos have been a great help to me--I'm replacing the motor coupling and the video lead me through the entire procedure effortlessly.) But, I'm noticing some dirt in the top and bottom of the tub, and on the outside of the washer basket (closer to the top). My wife occasionally complains about round brown spots in the laundry--not all the time, but sometimes. (I suspect the band of dirt near the top of the tub might accumulate when we use a full wash, but then dries in place and accumulates when we use smaller loads (which is our normal practice). At the bottom of the tub, there is a much thinner layer of gunk, from the bottom of the tub up about 4 inches. I'm going to improvise a tool to fit down between the basket and tub to clean that dirt off without taking the basket out--I'll probably (securely) tie something like a Tuffy onto a yard stick, then fill the tub with water and scrub. But, I wondered if that dirt, especially the band at the bottom of the tub, might be a symptom of these filter plugs no longer being effective?
