Howie October 01, 2011 for Model Number rex3615ew1 Can't break the plastic fan loose off the motor shaft. I tried what it said by turning the motor shaft clockwise while holding the impeller. Doesn't seem to work, any ideals?
1 Answer Hi Howie. The blower wheel is part # WP694089. As the old saying goes "use a bigger hammer" you can get a 12" long chisel and careful split the wheel in half from the center out. Be care full as to not even get close to the motor shaft. Then hold the belt pulley end of the motor shaft tight as you re-thread the new blower wheel on. Thank you. Read More...
1 Answer Hello Sam. Disconnect the power to the dryer. Remove the screws under the lint filter. Then release the clips under the front corners of the cabinet, and raise the top of the dryer. Unplug the door switch, and remove the screws holding the front panel on the dryer. Pull the front panel forward, and lift the front panel off the dryer. You can now access the belt for replacement. Reinstall in reverse order. Hope this helps. Read More...

1 Answer Hello Mike. This part can be rather difficult to remove. It can be rather tight on the shaft. You would need to find a way to stabilize the motor shaft and with enough twisting, you should be able to unscrew the blower wheel. I hope this info helps. Read More...
