This is the blower wheel that mounts on the motor shaft inside the dryer and circulates heated air through the drum and out the exhaust vent. It draws moist air away from clothes to facilitate drying. Replace this part if the dryer is noisy, makes a rattling or squealing sound, takes too long to dry clothes, or if the blower fins are cracked or broken.

Hi Howie. The blower wheel is part # WP694089. As the old saying goes "use a bigger hammer" you can get a 12" long chisel and careful split the wheel in half from the center out. Be care full as to not even get close to the motor shaft. Then hold the belt pulley end of the motor shaft tight as you re-thread the new blower wheel on. Thank you.

Hello Sam. Disconnect the power to the dryer. Remove the screws under the lint filter. Then release the clips under the front corners of the cabinet, and raise the top of the dryer. Unplug the door switch, and remove the screws holding the front panel on the dryer. Pull the front panel forward, and lift the front panel off the dryer. You can now access the belt for replacement. Reinstall in reverse order. Hope this helps.
