This is a snap mount safety switch that is a part of many types of lawn and garden equipment. The safety switch is made of plastic and has a metal four-pronged plug on the bottom. A button is located on the top. Inside of the base, there are two sets of contacts. One set is used to create a circuit between two blades, while the other set makes the circuit for the other pair of blades.
