This fuel tank is a genuine OEM part sourced from the manufacturer. It is commonly used on chippers, lawnmowers, lawn tractors, and other lawn and garden equipment that is powered by gasoline. The fuel tank is attached to the carburetor with a hose and clamp. The fuel tank has a vented fuel cap to help keep a vacuum from developing in the fuel line. If a vacuum develops, the fuel will not flow from the fuel tank to the carburetor. The fuel tank is made of non-corrosive plastic to prevent deterioration from the fuel.Inspect the fuel tank periodically for signs of deterioration. If there are any cracks or flaws that could become cracks, replace the fuel tank. Leaking fuel not only reduces the performance of the engine but can also be a safety hazard. Before replacing the tank, the fuel should be run dry or pumped out. Remove the spark plug to prevent accidental engine ignition while the fuel tank is replaced. This fuel tank is sold as an individual unit. It is designed for use with lawnmowers, lawn tractors, and many other small engines that are powered by fuel. This fuel tank is compatible with equipment made by MTD, Yard Machines, Yard-Man, Cub Cadet, Troy-Bilt, and Husky.

Here is a replacement fuel tank for use with a range of different models of small engines. The fuel tank plays one of the most important roles in a machine with an internal combustion engine. The tank holds the gas, which flows through the fuel line, so the machine can operate. Although fuel tanks are durable and built to last, there could be any number of reasons that one may need to be replaced. On older machines, for example, the fuel tank could have become damaged or corroded. Even newer machines could have a faulty fuel tank that would need to have a replacement. If there is an issue with the tank, it is not a replacement that can wait. The tank could be leaking fuel, for example, which can be wasteful as well as dangerous. This genuine OEM replacement fuel tank is identical to the one that came with the machine. It is sold individually and does not include any of the hardware needed for replacement. It can work with dozens of models of tillers, log splitters, and other small engines. Compatible brands include Troy-Bilt, Cub Cadet, MTD, HUSKEE, MasterCut, and Yard Machines.

The fuel tank plays one of the most important roles in an engine. It is the reservoir that contains the fuel needed to operate the machine. If there is a problem with the tank, or if it is damaged in any way, it could result in a leak. This is a significant safety risk in addition to being a waste of fuel. Owners will not want to operate a machine that has a fuel tank problem, as it could result in a fire.Fuel tanks are meant to be robust, but they can become damaged. This is a carbon canister assembly that is used to make lawn and garden equipment more ecologically friendly. When the engine is turned off, the fuel vapors from the fuel tank and carburetor are asborbed by the charcoal in the carbon canister assembly. It's part of an evaporative emission control system that captures hydrocarbon emissions. If there is a bad odor coming from the fuel, high emission levels, or pinging sounds, this could be an indication that the carbon canister assembly is failing. It can also cause weak performance from the equipment. If the carbon canister assembly isn't working properly, it will need to be replaced. Only basic tools are needed to remove the old carbon canister. The replacement component can be snapped in its place to ensure the equipment is capturing harmful emissions. This carbon canister assembly is a genuine OEM replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is sold as an individual component. This part is designed for compatibility with lawnmowers, trimmers, wood chippers, log splitters, string trimmers, and tillers made by MTD, Cub Cadet, and Craftsman.
