Geoffrey W Crofton , MD September 30, 2014 Appliance: Model SAMSUNG DW80F600UTS Over level water error on samsung dishwasher We replaced the sensor on the side of the dishwasher. We needed to uninstall the dishwasher. After we did that, we re-attached the wiring and plumbing so that we could see the little float inside the sensor assembly float past the upper limit and so that the water would make a circuit with the two wire leads at the top. That gave us good evidence that the sensor was bad (because the failsafe was activated). So we swapped out the part after ordering a replacement. We did have to put the dishwasher on its side to make the change. The first time we tried it after the replacement, the error reoccurred (water filled to the top), but we tried it again and it worked the second time. Once we were confident that we repaired the dishwasher, we reinstalled it into the cabinet. A parts supplier said that he saw lots of these parts in stock. So, with Samsung being new to this appliance market, he figured it was a design flaw and a common problem with the part. Too bad it failed 14 months into a 12 month warranty. Nathan J Parker , CO November 23, 2014 Appliance: Samsung Dishwasher DMT400RHS/XAA Over water level error I replaced the water level sensor on the side of the dishwasher. Had to completely take out dishwasher and set on its side. Removed three hose clamps and three electrical disconnects. I have hard water and it looked like the float inside of the sensor wasn't moving properly. Noel B New Milford , PA March 18, 2014 Low flow alarm on my Dishwasher I first tried removing and cleaning out the flow sensor. The float inside it seemed to move fine, but after putting it back together I still couldn't run a load without the dishwasher stopping and giving me the low flow alarm. I decided to go ahead and replace the part and it seems to have fixed it. So far, 2 loads have been run through and no alarm. William K Cleveland , TN January 22, 2016 Appliance: Samsung Dishwasher DW7933LRAWW/AA-0001 Samsung dishwasher normal heavy and smart leds flashing appliance did not function First, researched problem and resolution procedure on the internet. I kept my iPad handy to replay anything, or to do further research, if needed. I shut off (1) the electricity at the breaker panel, and (2) the appliance's water supply valve, then disconnected the water line and wiring to the dishwasher. Keep rags/towels handy for residual water draining from line and other components during removal and repair. I then removed the fasteners attaching the appliance to the base cabinets/counter. Keeping cardboard on the floor for protection and water absorption, I removed appliance from under the counter. I then removed the guard over the evaporation panel and case sensor assembly. I removed the interior vent to loosen the exterior evaporator panel (turn counter-clockwise with a pair of needle nose pliers inserted), and free the case assembly sensor. Disconnect wiring to the case sensor (modular plugs) and the drain line (uses a spring clamp), Remove and replace case sensor assembly, and reverse the process to reinstall. Seeing the videos on line is helpful, as there are no instructions that are included with the part. The last step was to check for leaks after re-energizing, and testing the unit, then ensuring all trim was re-installed. Complete success with no complications. Admittedly, I took my time during the process, so as not to damage or miss anything during the uninstall/ re-installation. David M Yorktown , VA July 31, 2015 Appliance: Samsung Dishwasher DMT800RHS/XAA Samsung dmt800 series error code 9e After finding the service manual online for this series I found that this error code indicated that the water level was never obtained to start the wash cycle. Since I could hear the water being pumped out after the error, it seemed like it must be the level detect sensor. I tried cleaning the internals of the float/optical sensor assembly but it remained unreliable. ApppliancePartsPros had this part in stock at a good price. I ordered on Friday and had it by lunch on Tuesday with standard shipping. After a quick install job everything is working fine. Dean G Columbus , GA September 06, 2016 Appliance: Samsung Dishwasher DW7933LRASR/AA-0001 Low level water error on 18 month old samsung dishwasher Turned off the circuit breaker, removed the inside racks, removed the lower front kick/trim plate, disconnected the electrical line, lowered the front adjustable feet, pulled the dishwasher out from underneath the counter far enough to remove the metal plate on the left side, reached inside the dishwaser and twisted the "brake cover" counterclockwise to remove it, then disconnected both sets of wires from the "assembly case sensor", disconnected the rubber drain hose, then twisted and pulled the "assembly case sensor" free from the "brake case assembly", ordered and received a new "assembly case sensor" from Appliance Parts Pros to replace the failed one and reversed the above process to reassemble. Dishwasher works perfectly now! Read More... 3 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Pliers, Screwdrivers

Michael M Midlothian , VA January 15, 2016 Appliance: Samsung Dishwasher DW7933LRASR/AA-0001 It would not fill with water when first started I replaced both the Brake Case Assy and the Sensor Case Assy. Both were easy to remove and reinstall after the dishwasher was deinstalled and pulled out of the cabinet. This is a common -design flaw with this dishwasher. Chase F Southlake , TX December 17, 2015 Appliance: Samsung Dishwasher DMT800RHS/XAA Showing oe error code I had a Samsung dishwasher (DMT800RHS) that would quit a minute or two into a wash cycle with the error code oE. I replaced the case sensor on the water panel with the new one I ordered here. It was pretty easy to swap the parts. After flipping the breaker and turning the water supply back on, it immediately gave me the error code LE which means water leakage is being detected, and would cycle on the pump to drain. I turned the unit over and removed the plastic tray on the bottom (the water sensor is connected to this), and noticed residual water on the pump and tray. After drying everything out, I reassembled and started it up. Works perfectly now!
