Samsung DA97-12942A Refrigerator Water Dispenser Cover Assembly OEM Part

Popped old one out easily and inserted new one. It is hard to tell from the product picture, but yes this part has the lever, face plate and rubber button included.

Carefully pried the old dispenser cover out with a tiny flat screwdriver(start at the bottom)and popped the other one in. Super easy.

Received the part from you--used the sharp edges of a chisel and putty knives to work the face plate of the original switch out, then snapped the new faceplate and switch in. Voila! It worked perfectly.

Ordered assembly. Comes with button, rubber cover, and plate. Nothing else needed. Popped off old cover with putty knife and screwdriver, popped on the new one. That's it! Took all of about 3 minutes.

It was very easy to order this part. Also the repair was simple, just use small flat head screw drivers in the two slots at the back of the plate to pop out the old (broken) one and then push the new one in place! I had previously called the Sears parts folks and when I gave them my model number RF261BEAESP they kept telling me it had an external water dispenser and they could not send me a part! On this site when I put in the model number it first said it would not work but then when I added the /AA that is listed under the BOM number it said this part would work, and it did.
