William S Virginia Beach , VA October 09, 2015 I was hearing the constant sound of defrosting from my french door samsung refrigerator and read online that it was probably icing up I bought the defrost-clip (clip-drain-evap), but once I took the refrigerator apart--the large plastic "back" had frozen to the rest and left the insulation in pieces when I tried to pull it apart. I was able to replace the clip-drain-evap piece with little trouble once the ice had melted, but I was unhappy with the looks of the "back". So I ended up ordering a new "back"(Yassy cover-evap) that included the new insulation as it's made in one unit. Once it arrived, replacing the new "back" was a quick repair since I had removed the old one once before, and I found no ice build-up behind the panel. I am satisfied with the project. Philbert C Fremont , CA January 06, 2015 Ice had formed all around the evaporator fan in order to pull the unit out to defrost i had to break the foam around the cover which meant having to replace the entire cover/evaporator assembly I used a steamer to melt the ice and then put this replacement cover evaporator on.
