Steve H Salem , OR October 27, 2015 Worn drum seal Replaced w/new seal, easy. More important was the service I received from you. I first called Samsung, their solution for a worn drum seal was to buy a new S.S. drum for near $300. Your solution was to buy a new seal for under $17, which was in stock and even delivered by Fedex on saturday. The lady I ordered the seal from was efficient and personable, like talking w/an old friend. It was an enjoyable experience, especially the price difference. Next time I need repair parts, you will be my first call. Javier M Washington , IL August 11, 2021 Appliance: Samsung Dryer DV45K6500EV/A3-00 The dryer is rattling and squeaking. To fix the dryer I had to disassemble my Samsung Dryer. Taking off the outer items (top, control panel, door) as well as interior components (front/back bulkheads, hoses, heater element casing). Once done, I had access to the drum support rollers (had to replace all 4), the belt, and the pulley assembly. Once all those parts were replaced with new ones. I removed the felt seal and installed the new felt drum seal. The glue was a bit messy, and the fit was a bit tight but was able to slowly work my way around. I could not have done any of this without the Instructional Videos provided by Appliance Parts Pros. I watched step by step (pausing the video to perform each step) on how to disassemble, replace and reassemble the dryer. The video was clear and well-lit so I could see exactly what he was doing, the voice was clear and easy to understand. All made for a great experience. I have used the videos and parts from Appliance Parts Pros on several occasions, recommend them to friends, and will continue to do so. Mark S Altadena , CA June 07, 2020 Appliance: Samsung Dryer DV42H5600GP/A3-00 Dryer was making a loud clunking noise while running. Rear drum roller and idler pulley assembly needed to be replaced. Took dryer apart and replaced all four rollers, the idler pulley assembly and the drum belt. The rear felt drum seal had also shredded, so I used a knife to remove the old one, and WD40 to clean off the old adhesive, before replacing it. Josh E Columbus , IN May 28, 2021 Grinding & scratching while drum was turning New drum seal and the high temp adhesive solved the problem! The seal was tight, so tight it wouldn't go all the way around the drum. After a bit of a stretch, it fit perfectly. A bit of advice for anyone who might read this, dry fit the seal onto the drum BEFORE using the adhesive. Otherwise, you'll just make a mess. I had some small binder clips on hand to be my third, fourth,... and tenth hand in holding the seal in place while I fitted it all the way around. Dryer is running smoothly and the drum is quiet again! Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes Tools: Nut Drivers, Screwdrivers
