Job took 20 minutes start to finish. Very easy. Called various repair shops. Estimates $4-500 dollars. Spent a little over $200 for both rails. Carlos R Oviedo , FL April 11, 2015 Broken freezer door rail Looked up how to repair the rail and realized that it was not difficult at all it took all of two minutes to repair very basic now I know if I need to move the fridge again how to remove the entire assembly without ruining another rail on a door jam. By the way I did call a repair man of which he stated that it would be best if just ordered the part myself and call him in to repair which by the way was a $90.00 service fee! Read More... Craig W Bristol , ME September 01, 2014 The slide for the freezer drawer came apart while moving the unit I could have avoided the problem by removing the slides from the unit completely, as you just have to push on a lever and slide the slide out. But I didn't and the slide hit on the door frame as we were bringing the unit in the house, forcing the slide apart. I tried to put it back together for an hour, but it became obvious that a new slide would be quicker. I ordered the slide, and had it in two days. I just slid the slide into the receiver, and installed the bolts attaching the door front to the slides on both sides. Then I installed the basket, and it was done. Read More...
