Because it was the Friday before the Labor Day weekend, they were not able to make a service call before the following Tuesday. After viewing the 'how to' video on Appliance Parts Pros, I ordered a replacement hinge plate and pin. The part arrived the following day, Saturday, and it took all of ten minutes to replace the hinge and remount the door. It does concern me that the part is labeled a "Best Seller", so maybe I can look forward to more hinge fillers in the future? Read More... Misty O Winchester , VA August 15, 2015 Broken fridge door hinge After 3 warranty companies wouldn't honor their warranties (they said they only covered mechanical failures) I turned to the internet and found this site. Not all of the parts have pictures so I chatted with a person on the site who gave me the part. Ordered it (even though I was nervous it wouldn't be right). Went on to appliance parts pros website, without even knowing the name of the part I easily found it due to the great setup of the website. I bought the part, and 24 hours later it was in my hand and 5 minutes after that my refrigerator door was fixed. Heaven forbid anything else breaks I know exactly where I need to go. Read More...
