Since I could not find the correct thermistor from the schematic provided, I ordered the thermistor harness for the evaporator. I cut the harness and spliced it to the sheared thermistor wires on the roof of the freezer compartment. It now works fine with a little "farmer ingenuity" help. Samsung was absolutely no help at all, but the guy that I spoke with over the phone at APP sure was. This site is now my "go to" for appliance parts! Tip for others with this model. First, I removed the old gaskets, which was a very easy task since they are held in the doors by rubber beads in recessed slots. I installed the new right door gasket in less than 10 minutes by gradually pushing the retainer bead into the door recessed slot with finger pressure until it was seated properly. The left door bead was somewhat more difficult to install into the bead slot, because the recessed bead slot is covered by a hinged flap on its left edge that doesn't permit easy access.... I took all the items out of the refrigerator. Removed the screws that hold the cover over the evaporator motor. Than for three hours used a hair drier to remove ice. The panel was frozen on if you pull on it it will break. Soaked up all the water removed the panel and took the fan blade off. That was difficult because it looks like a regular screw head however, you need to push in that which will cause it to release the blades and than push it onto the new motor. Removed the vegetable drawers, removed the shelf above them. Removed two screws (philips #2) holding the left drawer rail in place. Levers the front of the rail away from the side of the refrigerator and pulled, sliding the tab at the rear of the rail out from the fridge wall. Placing the new rail had some challenges due to extra plastic at the far end of the rail.
