Ross H Minooka , IL December 27, 2016 Samsung icemaker cover had broken off and damaged the temparature sensor I was able to access the icemaker by just emptying the top shelf of the freezer and removing it. It needed to be cleaned anyways. The removal is pretty simple. To put the part back in place I found a few youtube videos on correct placement and then was able to wedge myself in the freezer to make the repair. Robert B Senatobia , MS October 23, 2015 Ice maker stopped making ice I replaced the entire ice maker unit. I ordered the ice maker and the front cover. The ice maker plugged right in and started making ice right away. The front cover doesn't go on this particular unit. I guess since it's a replacement part, it differs a little in design. Front cover fit the old ice maker no problem but not the new unit. Not that big a deal for me, it's not like you see the ice maker much anyways. Read More...
