I was able to access the icemaker by just emptying the top shelf of the freezer and removing it. It needed to be cleaned anyways. The removal is pretty simple. To put the part back in place I found a few youtube videos on correct placement and then was able to wedge myself in the freezer to make the repair. I used a mirror, and then my cell phone on selfie mode, to verify proper replacement.
