Allan C Austin , TX August 29, 2016 Appliance: Model DMT-800RHS Drain hose was leaking causing le error code Kept getting LE (leak) error code on dishwasher and sure enough opening up side panel (left side looking from from) I could see that the internal drain hose was leaking. Bought part from this store and turned dishwasher upside down. Actually I just needed to turn it on its side to gain access. Removed the white panel on bottom that catches leaks and disconnected from electrical system. Removed side panel (left side as viewed from front of dishwasher). That gives access to both ends of the hose, which is only about 12 inches long. Used pliers to compress clamps and slid off hose with a bit of elbow grease one end at a time. Replacement was simple though was annoyed that the hose is packaged bent in opposite direction to that which it needs to be installed. Not a big problem but adds extra strain to hose. Replaced bottom panel after reattaching wires and then tested. Use flashlight to check for leaks at hose ends whilst dishwasher in operation. Once I had determined that there were no leaks then the side panel can be replaced and dishwasher replaced under counter. Not a complicated fix but turning dishwasher needs a bit of strength since it's a bulky object. Hose can be difficult to get off Read More... 2 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Pliers, Screwdrivers
