Richard B Schwenksville , PA April 04, 2014 Part holding door shut broke. First I took off the spring loaded wire ring holding down the seal to the door with needle nose pliers. Pulled back the seal. Removed the 3 screws holding the part on the front of the washing machine. Slid the piece out. Took the protector guard off the off piece and unplug the wires. Put the wires into new part. Put the protector on the new part. Slid the part back into place. Screwed it back in. Put the seal back on. Put the wire spring loaded ring back around the seal. Total time 15 minutes and I am a complete novice. I had never repaired a washing machine before. Keanna D Littlerock , CA September 23, 2014 The door lacth was cracked I removed the wire and rubber seal in order to get to the door lacth then I unscrewed the three screws popped out the latch put the screws and the rubber and wire back and tested the washer. Emile N Bryan , TX September 01, 2014 Appliance: Samsung Washer WF350ANW/XAA "do" error code door tried to trigger lock several times and remain locked Unplug washer Removed tub seal retaining wire with needle nose pliers. Pull back tub seal on right side only to access door lock switch assembly. Unscrew three screws for door lock switch and remove. Unsnap switch from switch bracket. Remove three wires from switch. Connect wires to new door switch, re-install in bracket, re-install in washer, securing with three screws. Replace tub seal over lip and double check for tight seal. Re-install tub seal spring. I removed part of the rubber seal and the 3 screws holding the door locking system in. I unplugged it and attached the new system. I put everything back in place and everything is working fine.
