Since the Tub is Stainless Steel and the Spider is an electrically inferior alloy, Galvanic corrosion will inevitably deteriorate the Spider/Flange to the point of failure. My solution was to bead blast and bake on an epoxy coating to the replacement Spider/Flange to minimize the bimetallic corrosion of this electrically inferior alloy since this is what Samsung is still utilizing.
