Main wash motor froze and then burned out the controller too i had to buy a new motor so the completely assembled sump with all motors and valves and heating element was a real steal for +$10 Mike K. • Fort Collins , CO • May 01, 2015
I bought a new controller first and installed it. The exact replacement controller was no longer available and I had to modify two AC connectors that changed from 3 pins with two wires to two pins with two wires. This was not expected but I made it work just fine by getting the three pin connectors on the cable to fit the two pin by breaking out the center web in the board two pin and then shaving off the raised key plastic on the wires. Then on power up, I found that the wash motor did not...

I had the smell of burning insulation followed by failure to drain the dishwasher seemed to cycle ok Dan G. • El Dorado , CA • November 17, 2014
Took the washer out, turned it over and found the solenoid that worked the drain valve to be melted, and the shaft that the solenoid activates was heavily corroded. I found the right parts on your website after reading the notes left by other customers, then watched the video. The repairs were fairly simple and successful. This was a GE profile dishwasher.

Error code "over fill" (flashing 'smart auto' and 'heavy' lights) cycle doesn't start in time for water to reach over fill sensor Patrick H. • Conyers , GA • May 19, 2015
Here's what the problem was:
Started the 'Normal' cycle... I closed the door... it calls for water, water fills, ECS sensor doesn't kick it to the next segment of the cycle (wash), so the water over-fills and reaches the over-fill sensor.
So many other are replacing the plastic 'case-brake,' main board, and the ECS sensor. I, however, was able to get by with just the ECS sensor replacement, which is known to be a faulty design by Samsung, supposedly.
The idea is replace the (1) most common...

Failed drain pump Russell P. • Gold Canyon , AZ • October 07, 2016
I drained the dishwasher by hand, disconnected power, water, and drain under the sink. I removed the screws holding the dishwasher in place. I located the pump with the online owners manual and removed it leaving the power connected. I put the machine on the rinse cycle and then hit cancel, the pump is supposed to come on, it didn't, I tried it twice, each time it would start if I manually started it spinning. So I ordered a new drain pump and reversed the removal procedure. Everything worked...

Kitchenaid dishwasher kudp02frss2 leak at float switch at front right of unit Richard B. • Mahwah , NJ • December 02, 2016
Removed bottom cover, located leak at float switch, removed and replaced float switch kit.
The toughest part of the repair was removing the Float & Retainer Assembly (in the interior of the machine tank) which broke when I pushed it back and pulled it straight up as suggested in the service manual. The Float Switch Kit (attached to, and below the float, below and outside the tank) has a folding plastic cover which fastens with plastic clips. If you open the switch kit before removing the...

Kenmore ultra wash dishwasher worked great for 18 months; then would not run start button blinked 3 times and nothing happened Nick C. • Safety Harbor , FL • November 12, 2015
Looked online, appeared to be door switch or control panel. Tried door switch first, a $30 part. Installed new door switch and washer started right up and appears to be fixed. Have not tried full wash cycle yet, but problem appears to be fixed. I decided to buy part from AppliancePartsPros.com because I could return the part if it did not correct the problem, no one else offered such a deal. I will only deal with AppliancePartsPros in the future, they were extremely helpful on the phone!

Genuine Bosch part
By: Bosch
Part Number: 00499500
The Pressure Chamber is an OEM part for Bosch dishwashers. This part is responsible for monitoring and controlling the water level within the dishwasher. It operates by sensing the pressure exerted by the height of the water in the tub and ensures that the dishwasher fills with the correct amount of water for optimal cleaning performance.
Causes for replacement may involve wear and tear over extended use, mineral buildup affecting the switch’s sensitivity, or electrical faults leading to inconsistent performance.
Symptoms of a failing Pressure Chamber include:
- Overfilling or underfilling of the dishwasher, which can lead to inadequate cleaning or potential water damage.
- Unexpected changes in the wash cycle, such as sudden stops or pauses.
- The dishwasher not starting a wash cycle due to incorrect water level readings.
This genuine OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau and select Kenmore models.

Internal water leak on a bosch shu5316 uc/06 dishwasher David B. • Aspinwall , PA • March 13, 2015
Using instructions I obtained over the internet, I first removed the DW's bottom cover panels so I could look inside the DW (with a flashlight) while it was running. I had to put their dishwasher through several wash cycles before I could pinpoint the location of the leak. (The water appeared to be coming from above on the left side of the DW, near the top, rear of the DW's blue "Pressure Chamber." Thinking that the problem likely lay in either a malfunctioning Pressure Chamber or in a...
