I found a youtube video about replacing the hot water valve in a Samsung washer. It looked pretty easy. Since my Samsung Dishwasher would not drain and had a flashing quick light, I removed the racks and both spray wands. Which allowed me to remove the lower screen assembly. This revealed a worn and broken check valve and broken grinder blade. I cleaned the inside of the dishwasher and removed the unit from under the counter. First determined drain discharge hose was clear. Turned of power to dishwasher. I did not find it necessary to remove the dishwasher. I simply removed the lower service panel at the floor and was able to easily remove the defective pump, unplug it, replace the small rubber check valve flapper before the pump inlet and reinstall the new pump assembly. I first installed the inlet pump with no results. I then ordered a Control Switch and Float and Nut. This fixed the problem. Everything comes out so clean. I also replaced the filter which allowed me to clean debris around old filter. It is also easier to replace all these parts with the dishwasher pulled out and tilted on its side. Removed dishwasher from it niche, examined the bottom, and found out what parts I needed. Went on line, found Appliance Parts Pro, looked at their video, saw that I could do it, and ordered the parts. When the parts arrived, removed old parts, and inserted new ones. I watched a suggested video about my model and was able to easily take apart the filter unit and access the drainage area. I found a worn out "Float" Valve. In the process of replacing the float valve I went ahead and replaced a gasket and the Valve, Check. Repairs went great. Parts were a perfect fit. This is the second time I used AplliancePartsPros. 1) Cleaned all sprayer arms. Many of the outlet holes were clogged with small debris (mostly small bits of food and a Jolly Rancher candy wrapper). 2) Removed circulation pump to clean impeller assembly. It was really clogged with stuff (more candy wrapper, shards of glass, a small metal screw). Luckily impeller fins were intact. 3) Re-assembled.
