Part Number: WPW10226427
This is a high-quality refrigerator power supply board. It's an internal component that is made to control the refrigerator functions. This part is made with small precision parts to help with timing defrost and cooling cycles. This part can be damaged or malfunction and stop operating correctly. This may prevent the refrigerator from running, cause strange sounds, or cause the refrigerator to run at the wrong temperature. If this part is damaged, it will need to be replaced. Before replacing the power supply board, make sure the refrigerator is unplugged from the wall. The process will require a flathead screwdriver and a nut driver. Use the tools to unthread the screws on the access cover. Depress the retaining tab to remove the inner cover and disconnect the wires. Press the tab to release the power supply board and snap in the new component. Make sure the wires are properly connected and reassemble. This genuine OEM replacement part is sold on an individual basis. It is directly acquired from the manufacturer and is designed to be compatible with refrigerators made by Kenmore, Whirlpool, Maytag, and KitchenAid.

My fresh food compartment on my refrigerator was warm. Steven S. • Frederica , DE • April 17, 2020
After checking, I narrowed the scope to the evaporator fan and the main control board. I replaced the fan and still had the same issue, then I moved to the main board and that resolved my issue. It was a very easy job.

Ice dispenser auger won't stop turning Therese N. • Blacksburg , VA • November 23, 2015
First, I will never, ever make the mistake of unscrewing anything on an appliance while it is still connected to power - what started as a cosmetic fix on the freezer door ended up costing me $340 to fix after I shorted out one of the boards for the dispenser.
Replaced both the Ice dispenser power board and Ice dispenser control board. I tried to get information on how to test which of my boards had gone bad, since these are pricey parts, but could not find a reliable way to test. And since...

Part Number: WP2314156
This is an electromechanical defrost timer that controls the automatic defrost cycle in a refrigerator. It periodically switches the compressor off and activates the defrost heater to melt frost buildup on the evaporator coils. Replace this timer if your refrigerator is not defrosting properly, frost is building up excessively on the back wall of the freezer, or the compressor runs continuously without cycling into defrost mode.

Erratic cooling ice buildup in freezer Donald M. • Stover , MO • March 13, 2015
I replaced the Thermostat and Defrost Timer. It was a fairly easy repair other than removing the old Defrost Timer. The way the manufacturer, in this case, Amana, mounts that unit with "clips" is just poor design and engineering. It is virtually impossible to get the timer out without damaging the mounts. I had to do some creative rework to mount the new timer.
After 2 days, the fridge appears to be working properly with these new parts.
The new parts were shipped Very Fast...APP is...

In the past the temperature would change from one day to the next, remain constant for weeks then start rising again. Would unplug for 5 – 10 min and adjust temp and would work fine. Now Refrigerator compressor will not shut off (has been running for the last 3 days) temps are 26F on freezer side and 43F on food compartment side. Checked evaporator and it has a great deal of frost on it but not frozen. Checked for continuity on the defroster heater and thermostat by going through the...
