This should be plastered all over the place and every owner of a front end washer should be advised or a recall should be issued about this. I first replaced the drive motor which was no longer wanting to spin or rinse clothes. It was completely dead in my 10 year old washer. Once I replaced, it would run, but give the F06 code. I then replaced the CPU and runs like a new machine. Very easy repairs made in less than an hour by a stay at home mom with little ones wanting to help. If I can do it, anyone can do it. My washing machine started banging when the spin cycle got close to full speed. After some research I determined that the mounting spindle had probably broken loose. With a manual I found online and a basket from AppliancePartsPros.com I disassembled everything down to just a shell, changed the basket and reassembled the washer.
