This clear plastic lens covers the interior light in your dryer, protecting the bulb while allowing light to illuminate the drum. It shields the bulb from lint and moisture while providing easy visibility during loading and unloading. Replace if the lens is cracked, yellowed, or missing to restore proper drum lighting.

I opened the top of the dryer (after watching the video on your website) and replaced the lever on the switch. Removed two screws near the lint filter, used a putty knife to release fasteners under the top and raised the top. Held it in place with a short piece of board then removed the two screws holding in the switch and lever. Replaced the broken lever with the new one and put it all back together.
