Tappen Gas Stove circa 1981 (uses Fridgidaire parts). Unplugged stove from 110 wall outlet. Spark control module located on back side of stove about mid-way down on left side under a black cover that juts out. Black cover had 2 phillips head screws...removed the black cover and the spark module was right there...held on by 2 additional phillips screws. We ordered what appeared to be the correct part from Appliance Parts Pros.com and thought that might solve the problem. The part that came was crimped in two places and did not fit the stove. We called a company representative on Saturday. She was very patient and knowledgeable. She directed us on looking up the model number and other needed information.
