The Spark Module is an OEM replacement part for GE gas ranges. It is responsible for generating electric sparks to ignite the gas burners on the cooktop. The spark module produces consecutive sparks when a surface burner knob is turned on, which ignite the gas mixture and allows the burner flame to ignite safely and consistently.
Causes of a bad spark module can include faulty electrodes, worn internal components that hamper sparking, or damage due to moisture intrusion or power surges over time.

Harness connects spark module to burner igniters on gas ranges. Replace if wires are frayed, cracked, burned, or damaged to restore reliable ignition.
The only issue I had was that I had ordered spark igniters the week prior after watching your repair video which showed the spark igniters with wires attached. When the ignitors arrived, there were no wires, so I ordered this harness which actually fixed the problem with having to open the igniters. This surface burner valve switch mounts on the gas valve stem and signals the spark module when you turn the knob. Replacing a faulty switch restores consistent clicking and reliable ignition on the affected cooktop burner. What it does:
Turned out the little switches on the knob shaft had corroded and were staying on. There was constant continuity showing with an ohm meter. Replacing the switches was very easy (always disconnect power to the unit before servicing). This retainer secures the oven door hinges in place and is located at the bottom corners of the oven door frame. Replace if the oven door sags, won't stay closed properly, or if the hinges appear loose or misaligned.
First, the reader should know that the oven is a GE wall oven, model JKS05P1 and it was 22 years old when I made the repair. I bought the door seal from Appliance Parts Pros so used the directions in the Q&A for this part. I loosened the screws as directed, but the old seal wouldn't budge. I searched online for other directions and discovered the screws needed to come out and the inner-liner needed to be pulled forward just a bit.
