The Door Gasket is an OEM part for LG dishwashers. It forms a watertight seal around the dishwasher door, preventing leaks during the wash cycle. This gasket ensures that water stays inside the dishwasher, promoting efficient cleaning and protecting your kitchen from water damage.
Causes of a bad door gasket can include regular wear and tear, buildup of detergent residue, or damage from closing the door on obstructive items. Over time, the gasket can become brittle or cracked, compromising its sealing capabilities.
Symptoms of a bad door gasket include:

Pulled out the old gasket. Then, found the middle of the new one and started in the top middle of the dishwasher and pushed the new one in and worked my way to the left and down the side and then the right and down the side. This metal panel forms the bottom surface of your gas oven cavity. It protects the oven interior and helps distribute heat evenly during cooking. Replace it if you see rust, warping, or holes in your oven bottom that affect heating performance.
