This tube supplies water to the ice maker and water dispenser systems, running from the water source to the dispensing mechanisms. Replace when you experience low water flow, no ice production, or visible leaks along the water line path.
Ordered new tube part AJR56656503 for Lg LFX25978ST/01 watched a lot of videos but none showed how to remove the door tube end from its connection so I just cut and spliced the new tube to the old under the cover for the door hinge area after feeding it from the back of frig to that area. The ice chute flap wasnt closing. 1. I turned off power 2, Pulled off facia around controls on freezer door,, you have to pull out the bottom part of the chute first , its clipped in 3.
