Changing out the stovetop orifices from natural gas to propane- First thing, turn off the gas. I replaced the ball and socket connection for the drum. After doing so, I realized that the belt had been stretched and the tension pulley was not putting enough tension on the belt to turn the drum. After ordering a new belt, extra screw that was lost while disassembling the dryer, and some high temperature lubricant for the drum ball and socket the dryer now runs as well as it did when it was new. This Frigidaire model requires power to be disconnected before servicing. Power is going to the elements at all times and the control switches close to the ground side. removed the back panel to have access to the wiring of the element. Disconnect the two wires to the broil element and then opened the oven door and removed the screws holding the element in place.
